Cutting, slice-making, polishing, and thin-section operations are performed on rocks at the thin-section and gemology laboratory. In addition, polished sections of the ore and placer samples prepared for ore petrography studies.
ACCREDITATION
Our department has been accredited by the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs (MÜDEK) with the MÜDEK and EUR-ACE labels for the period of 01.05.2026 – 30.09.2031 ( for 5 years).
